Yes. Your private-tour arrangements are created for you and your party only. Other Scotland’s Wild guests do not join your tour.
Do I need a finished itinerary before I enquire?
No. You can arrive with a detailed list of places or simply tell us the kind of Scotland trip you want.
The enquiry form is only the first step. Your coordinator can help clarify the route, trip length, interests, pace and practical details after that.
What should I put in the Notes box on the enquiry form?
The Tourwriter enquiry form has one general Notes field rather than separate fields for every planning detail.
Include anything useful such as your preferred travel dates, approximate number of days, must-see places, interests, preferred pace, accommodation style, special occasions and anything you have already booked.
It does not need to be polished. Bullet points are fine.
Where can a personalised private tour start and finish?
Bespoke private tours are not restricted to the meeting points used by our scheduled group tours.
Agreed collection and drop-off locations can be considered as part of the itinerary, including accommodation and airports where practical.
Can you help with accommodation?
Accommodation can form part of the private-tour planning process.
Tell us the type and standard of accommodation you prefer and your budget, and it can be considered alongside the route.
Booking and payment arrangements depend on the itinerary created for you and will be explained in your proposal.
Can you create ancestry or clan journeys?
Yes. Family history is particularly well suited to a personalised tour because the route can be built around surnames, places, clans and connections specific to you.
