Every bespoke tour is priced for your route, dates and group. These ranges are a rough guide to what most of our private guests spend, and your price can vary widely. Most bespoke tours include your accommodation, your own guide and private vehicle, and entry to the places you visit. Food and drink are not included.

These are rough costs only and can vary widely. They are typical totals for the whole group, based on bespoke private tours booked with us over the last two years. Most of our private groups are 2 to 8 people, and we also plan tours for solo travellers and groups of 16 or more. Your price depends on group size, the standard of accommodation, the season, ferries and the experiences you choose. If you’ve already booked your own accommodation, we can plan the tour without it.

Yes. Every Scotland’s Wild private tour comes with your own driver-guide and private vehicle for your party only, whether it’s a single day or a longer journey.
Your guide drives, handles the route and shares the history, stories and local knowledge along the way.
What is included in a private tour?
Your own driver-guide, a private vehicle, fuel, pick-up and drop-off at your accommodation, and a bespoke itinerary. Accommodation and attraction entry are normally included in multi-day quotes and itemised, or left out if you have booked your own. Meals aren't included.
How many people can join a private tour?
Up to 8 guests per vehicle, with larger vehicles available for bigger groups. For larger families or groups we may also add vehicles and guides, so there is no fixed upper limit.
Can you plan a luxury private tour of Scotland?
Yes. Tell us the standard of accommodation you prefer and your budget, and we’ll consider it alongside the route, from characterful places to stay to luxury hotels.
Your own guide, private vehicle and a route planned around your interests make the whole journey more personal.
Is the tour completely private to my group?
Yes. Your private-tour arrangements are created for you and your party only. Other Scotland’s Wild guests do not join your tour.
Do I need a finished itinerary before I enquire?
No. You can arrive with a detailed list of places or simply tell us the kind of Scotland trip you want.
The enquiry form is only the first step. Your coordinator can help clarify the route, trip length, interests, pace and practical details after that.
What should I put in the Notes box on the enquiry form?
Our enquiry form has one general Notes field rather than separate fields for every planning detail.
Include anything useful such as your preferred travel dates, approximate number of days, must-see places, interests, preferred pace, accommodation style, special occasions and anything you have already booked.
It does not need to be polished. Bullet points are fine.
Where can a personalised private tour start and finish?
Bespoke private tours are not restricted to the meeting points used by our scheduled group tours.
Agreed collection and drop-off locations can be considered as part of the itinerary, including accommodation and airports where practical.
Can you collect us from our hotel or cruise ship?
Yes. Private tours can start and finish anywhere in Scotland, including Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness, by arrangement.
Can you help with accommodation?
Accommodation can form part of the private-tour planning process.
Tell us the type and standard of accommodation you prefer and your budget, and it can be considered alongside the route.
Booking and payment arrangements depend on the itinerary created for you and will be explained in your proposal.
Can you create ancestry or clan journeys?
Yes. Family history is particularly well suited to a personalised tour because the route can be built around surnames, places, clans and connections specific to you.

A private day tour with Scotland’s Wild costs from £800 per group (not per person) for up to 8 guests, including vehicle, fuel and driver-guide.
Multi-day private tours start from £2,500 per group (see the cost table above; quote is per trip), and vary widely depending on your route, dates, group size and accommodation.
How much does a bespoke private Scotland tour cost?
Most of our bespoke private tours cost roughly £1,200 to £2,200 per day for the whole group. That usually includes your accommodation, your own guide and private vehicle, and entry to the places you visit. Food and drink are not included.
There is no single standard price because every personalised itinerary is different.
Cost depends on factors including number of days, route, travel dates, group size, accommodation preferences and experiences included.

What if I only want a private day tour?
