How many days should we allow?
It depends on what you want to see.
One private day can focus on a particular region. Edinburgh, Glencoe, Fort William and Glenfinnan together work far better as a multi-day journey.
Can we travel on the Jacobite Steam Train?
Potentially, yes.
The Jacobite is seasonal and dependent on the operator's timetable and ticket availability, so it cannot be guaranteed for every date.
Mention it clearly in your enquiry if travelling on the train is one of your priorities.
Can we visit Glenfinnan without riding the train?
Absolutely.
Glenfinnan Viaduct and Loch Shiel are outstanding destinations in their own right and do not require a Jacobite ticket to visit.
Can the tour start in Edinburgh, Glasgow or elsewhere?
Bespoke private touring provides considerable flexibility over start and finish locations.

No. Alnwick Castle is in Northumberland in northern England.
It can potentially be incorporated into a wider itinerary if the route and available time make that practical.
Are train and attraction tickets automatically included?
Because this is not a fixed tour, inclusions vary between itineraries.
Your eventual proposal will clearly show what's included and which third-party costs, if any, are separate.

How far in advance should we enquire?
