Stop 1: Luss
Your first stop is Luss, a quaint village located on the western shore of Loch Lomond. Stroll along its streets, admire the colourful cottages, and take in the peaceful atmosphere by the water. Visit Luss Parish Church and its interesting surroundings!Stop 2: Falls of Falloch
Next, head to the Falls of Falloch, a stunning waterfall in the heart of the Highlands. Take a short walk to view the falls, where the waters cascade dramatically into the river below, surrounded by flourishing greenery. It’s the perfect spot for a photo opportunity and a moment of tranquility.Journey on through the stunning Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. It’s known for its beautiful lochs, wild range of wildlife, and its impressive hills. This park offers some of the most incredible views in Scotland making it the perfect place for photographers and adventurers!
You’ll drive alongside the extremely popular 96-mile hike called the West Highland Way; this runs from Milngavie to Fort William so ensure you give all the hikers a little wave of luck if you see any! You’ll soon learn of Dalrigh and the very important event in Scottish history that took place on the land you’ll pass.
You’ll leave the wonderful Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, but don’t worry! You’re about to enter the magnificent Glencoe!
Stop 4: Three Sisters of Glencoe
Head into the heart of Glencoe and witness the incredible Three Sisters of Glencoe. These towering peaks rule the landscape and are among the most iconic features of the Scottish Highlands. Take in the breathtaking views and hear the fascinating history and legends behind this dramatic spot.Stop 5: Lunch at the Glencoe National Trust Visitor Centre & view an authentic replica Turf House
Continue to the National Trust Visitor Centre in Glencoe, where you can explore exhibits about the region's history and natural beauty. You’ll also have a chance to view an authentic replica Turf House, providing an absorbing glimpse into traditional Scottish Highland life. Afterward, enjoy a lunch at the Visitor Centre, offering a selection of Scottish dishes to refuel for the rest of your tour.Stop 6: Short Highland Walk
Take a refreshing walk around a serene loch in Glencoe, a short hike that offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and tranquil lochans. Is the Glencoe Tour for me?
Before booking on to our tour, please remember that this is an Active Sightseeing tour and might not be for everyone. We will be going for 2 walks of approx. 1 hour each and will possibly be hiking up hill for roughly half that time.

Can I and everyone in my group comfortably walk for up to 1 hour?
What should I bring on the Day Tour?
As the weather can be unpredictable at time in Scotland, for your day tour we recommend you bring light waterproof clothing and sturdy hiking boots or shoes. You may also want to bring midge repellent as during certain times of year (primarily April - September) the midges may irritate you. If you’re lucky enough to get a nice sunny day, then some sun cream would be great. If it’s during the colder months, then some warm clothing, gloves and a hat may also be useful.
When should I arrive for the Glencoe Tour?
We ask all clients to arrive at least 15 minutes early for your trip around Glencoe & the Scottish Highlands, this ensures a prompt departure. If you’re going to be late, get in touch as soon as possible on +44 131 241 8292 and we will see about getting you on anther tour if there is availability. This is not a guarantee though
Is there Parking near the Glasgow Departure location?
Yes, there’s parking near the departure point for your Glencoe & Highlands of Scotland Day Trip. It’s at Buchanan Galleries shopping Centre and is multi story, Private parking facility and they do charge for parking. It will take you approximately 5 minutes to walk from the parking facility to the Glencoe & Highlands of Scotland Day Tour Start Location
How long will I be out the vehicle?
On the Glencoe & Scottish Highlands Day Tour, there’ll be plenty of time out of the vehicle so you can really make the most of your day. This will be to enjoy some hiking, marvel at some beautiful waterfalls, have lunch and take photos of the beautiful mountainous landscape
Do you have any age restrictions?
For our scheduled day tours, we have a minimum age limit of 12 years old.
If you have children under 12 who you’d like to take on a Day Tour, we recommend getting in touch info@scotlandswild.comand asking about a fully private tour for you and your group.
Should I bring Lunch?
There will be no need to bring any lunch as you’ll be stopping off at a lovely wee place in the Highlands of Scotland to feed yourselves and gaze at the mountainous landscape surrounding your
Can I take luggage with me?
On the Glencoe & Scottish Highlands Day Tour, there is space for everyone to have a rucksack or handbag so you can carry your essentials. If you have a suitcase or any form of larger luggage, then do get in touch before booking to find out if we still have space to store it during your trip.
Will there be plenty of bathroom breaks?
On the Glencoe & Scottish Highlands Tour, there will be plenty of locations to stop to use the facilities. We won’t ever be that far away.
Should I tip my Scotland Tour Guide/Driver?
If you believe your Scotland Tour Guide/Driver provided you with a great experience then I know they will always appreciate a wee bonus, though it is completely up to you on how much you tip or if you’d like to provide one
What’s your Day Tour Cancellation Policy?
Any cancellation for our Glencoe & Scottish Highlands Day Tour, 8 or more days before the tour start day, you will be issued a full refund
Cancelling between 4 and 7 days before the tour start date you will be issued a 50% refund and cancelling within 3 days of the tour, full payment is needed

What happens if I miss my tour?
If you are late for your tour, the cancellation policy will apply. If on the day, you believe you will be late, do get in touch as soon as possible on +44 131 241 8292 and we will see about getting you on another tour if there is availability. This is not a guarantee though
Do I have Travel Insurance Provided?
We don’t provide travel insurance, though we highly recommend taking out appropriate travel insurance for any vacation to Scotland
