How much walking is involved?
The Loch Lomond stop includes approximately 45–60 minutes of walking.
The optional route towards Craigie Fort includes a short uphill section, so guests should be comfortable walking outdoors for around an hour. Comfortable, sturdy footwear is recommended.
What should I wear and bring?
Scotland’s weather can change quickly. We recommend waterproof clothing, warm layers and comfortable sturdy walking shoes or boots.
In season, midge repellent can be useful; sun cream is worth bringing on brighter days.
Are food and drinks included?
No. Lunch, snacks, whisky and other drinks are not included. The itinerary normally includes time to purchase lunch during the Stirling Castle stop.
Vegetarian and vegan choices are normally available. If you have strict gluten-free or complex dietary needs, bringing a packed lunch is recommended.
How much luggage can I bring?
