Where does the private tour pick us up?
Your guide will normally collect you from your accommodation in Edinburgh, with final arrangements confirmed as part of your booking.
Is Stirling Castle admission included?
Stirling Castle admission is normally paid separately from the private-tour price.

How much walking is involved?
The tour includes time outside around Loch Lomond. One of the advantages of travelling privately is that your guide can adapt the pace and walking where possible to suit your group.
Can we change the itinerary?
Private tours allow greater flexibility over pacing, walking, photography stops and the amount of time spent at individual locations.
Significant route changes should be requested in advance. Additional time, distance or supplier arrangements can sometimes affect the price.
What should we wear?
Scotland's weather can change quickly, so comfortable walking shoes, waterproof outerwear and layers are recommended.
Do we need to bring lunch?
No. There will normally be an opportunity to purchase food during the day and your guide can recommend suitable options.
You are also welcome to bring snacks and bottled drinks.
What are the cancellation terms?
For private tours, 25% of the total price is payable if cancelling 61 or more days before departure; 50% from 60–31 days; and 100% at 30 days or less before departure.
Certain third-party arrangements may carry additional non-refundable costs.
