Turn inland from Oban towards Loch Awe and one of Scotland's most atmospheric castle settings.
Kilchurn Castle was built in the 1400s by the Campbells of Glenorchy and today sits dramatically beside Loch Awe, surrounded by mountains.
When local access and ground conditions allow, walk towards the castle and enjoy the exterior and surrounding landscape.
The interior is currently closed while conservation work continues.
Return to Glasgow
Finish the day with one final journey through Highland scenery.
Continue south through the western Highlands and Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park before returning to your agreed Glasgow drop-off point.

The castle interior is closed while conservation work continues.

How much walking is involved?
This is an Active Sightseeing experience with short outdoor walking opportunities throughout the day.
The amount can be adapted somewhat around weather, ground conditions and the needs of your private group.
Can we change the itinerary?
