Your first stop is the extraordinary Rosslyn Chapel. Built in the 15th century, this intricately carved masterpiece has captured imaginations for generations and was famously featured in The Da Vinci Code. Leaderfoot Viaduct & The Scottish Borders
Travelling deeper into the Borders, you’ll pause to admire the elegant arches of the Leaderfoot Viaduct, recognisable from Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. It’s a striking photo stop and a chance to appreciate the engineering heritage of the region.
A little further on, you’ll stop at the historic border between Scotland and England, a simple yet symbolic crossing that marks the shift into Northumberland.
Alnwick Castle – Hogwarts
Crossing into England, you arrive at the magnificent Alnwick Castle. With over 700 years of history, it remains one of Britain’s grandest fortresses — but for many visitors, it is best known as Hogwarts in the Harry Potter films. Wander the same courtyards where Harry first learned to fly, explore the grand state rooms, and soak in the atmosphere of this iconic location.

St Abbs
On the return north, you’ll visit the picturesque harbour village of St Abbs. This charming coastal spot was transformed into “New Asgard” in Avengers: Endgame and also featured in Harry Styles’ “Adore You” music video. Today it remains a peaceful fishing village, with dramatic cliffs and fresh sea air offering a refreshing contrast to the castle grandeur earlier in the day.
