Highlights - Day 1

We’ll pick you up to be whisked away to our first stop located in Scotland’s first national park, Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park.
Stopping in the village of Luss we’ll go island spotting and look to see if we can find the Island of Wallabies on Loch Lomond! We’ll also visit an old viking grave and explore the picturesque town.
Travelling further north into the national park along the lochside, the scenic drive will take your breath away, it always does for us no matter what the weather.
Exiting the national park, we continue our journey but go back in time to Kilmartin Glen where we’ll discover standing stones and burial cairns dating back centuries!
Stopping by Inveraray Castle in all its grandeur we’ll spend time in the loch side village and hear stories of it’s past.

A full day of exploring the highlands of Scotland! We’ll first head to a wonderful waterfall on the river that leads to Loch Lomond.
From there we head north into one of the most beautiful regions of our country - Glencoe. Truly you will remember the views of these mountains for the rest of your life!
We’ll stop by the turf house and visitor centre for lunch and respite with a backdrop that will keep you staring. Here we’ll learn about how highlanders used to live and about a bloody massacre thats brutality still sends shivers today.
Next we’ll keep going deeper into the highlands and see Glenfinnan where the famed Harry Potter Bridge is and where we can witness the passing of the train itself.

Now we travel further inland, stopping by the magnificent village of Fort Augustus. Located on the banks of Loch Ness, you’ll have to keep a lookout for Nessie if she decides to wave a flipper at us on the way! Learn all about the famous monster and the Loch she lives in.
After stopping by the famous loch, we head for our hike of the day in the heart of the Highlands of Scotland, Creag Meagaidh (pronounced Craig Meggy).
This beautiful wild landscape is a key example of a rewilding project that is expanding the natural remoteness that once existed across Scotland. The ancient woodland will leave your imagination running wild, wondering where all the fairies are!
After this fascinating walk, we’ll begin our descent down the country, heading south towards Glasgow. But first, we’ll stop by the stunning Highland town of Pitlochry.
This beautiful town was favoured by Queen Victoria on her travels to Balmoral castle, and it was that opinion, which launched tourism in the small village due to all the upper class wanting to travel where the Queen had been.
It’s then time to be dropped off at your chosen locations to end the 3-day private tour of Scotland.
