Originally constructed by the Campbell clan, Kilchurn Castle became a strategic stronghold in the region, guarding the northeastern shore of Loch Awe. Its formidable architecture and commanding position reflected the power and influence of the clan who called it home.

Kilchurn is a wonderful castle to visit and often you’ll find highland coo’s around the area - normally napping on the beach, so it’s a great spot to have more of an authentic Scottish experience!
