Lagavulin Distillery

Lagavulin Distillery, found in the picturesque bay between Ardbeg and Laphroaig on the southern shores of Islay, is one of the esteemed Kildalton distilleries. As one of Scotland's oldest distilleries, its official establishment dates back to 1816, but historical records trace illicit distillation on this site as early as 1742.
