Hiking Trails

While Ben Aan may not be the tallest mountain in Scotland, it offers a variety of hiking trails that are sure to challenge and delight hikers of all skill levels.

The most popular trail is the Ben Aan Hill Path, which begins at the car park at the base of the mountain and ascends to the summit in just over 2 miles. The trail is steep and rocky in places, but hikers are rewarded with stunning views of Loch Katrine and the surrounding hills.

For more experienced hikers, the Ptarmigan Ridge Trail offers a more challenging hike with even more breathtaking views. This trail is longer and steeper than the Ben Aan Hill Path, but it is well worth the effort for the panoramic views of the Trossachs and beyond.
