About Glencoe and the Highlands

Glencoe is home to some of the most outstanding sightseeing to be found anywhere in Scotland, and that really is saying something.  There's 12km of beautiful Glen, flanked on both sides by wild and rugged mountains.  The Glen itself conceals a dark history, full of feuding Clans, treachery and murder.

The Scottish Highlnads are also known for its wildlife.  It holds some of the most iconic species to be found in Scotland, the Golden Eagle which soars above the mountain tops and the imposing Red Deer which can often be seen just by the roadside.

Important information

On our excursions, we go out for walks in the beautiful countryside, and as it's in Scotland, the weather can sometimes be a little wet and the terrain can be a wee bit slippy.  Due to this, we recommend you bring some light waterproof clothing, dress in layers and bring a comfortable pair of walking boots/shoes.  There is enough room for you to be able to bring a good sized rucksack on the trip.

Is this Tour for you?

Before booking on to our tour, please remember that this is an Active Sightseeing tour and might not be for everyone.  We will be going for one longer walk of around three hours and will likely be walking up hill for roughly half that time.  Also during the trip, there will be a few smaller walks, between 10-50 minutes.

Before booking on, please ask yourself,
Can I and everyone in my group comfortably walk for up to 3 hours?
