What makes our Loch Lomond Tour Special

We go Sightdoing!

Our Tours are different from other bus trips

We focus on getting out and really experiencing the spectacular landscape and immersing ourselves in it's surroundings.

We get out and go for walks, learn about the area, learn the history, enjoy the culture and bond with our fellow visitors.

We don't just go Sightseeing, we take part in Sightdoing.

Where we go and what we do

Loch Lomond and the Trossachs is filled with wonderful places.  There are majestic geological features, there's wildlife, there are waterfalls, there's history, there's islands, there are mountains and of course quite a few Lochs (Lakes)

On our day together, we go out and explore, we drive to some of the most beautiful location in the National Park and search for these wonderful treasures that Scotland has to offer.  When we get to these amazing areas, we get out and do what other tour companies don't, we explore these areas on foot and go searching for the best sights so you can create wonderful memories of your time in Scotland.

Our Tours start locally

Our Loch Lomond & Trossachs Trip starts locally, in the National park, meaning less time driving and more time Exploring.

Our excursion starts at the Visit Scotland Information centre in Balloch across from Balloch Train Station.

The Old Station Building, Balloch Road, Balloch, G83 8LQ

The National Park

Scotland's first ever National Park was founded in 2002, though the scenic beauty, lovely villages, wonderful locals, wildlife and all the other magical qualities which make this one of the best places to visit in Scotland have been here for a lot longer.

How big is the park?

Covering 720 square miles, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park is a fair old size and has a diverse range of landscape and sightseeing opportunities. From the bonnie bonnie banks of Scotland's largest Loch (Lake), Loch Lomond, at 44 sq miles (71 sq km), to the rugged tops of the Arrochar Alps and the scenic single track roads of the Trossachs to name just a few.

Loch Lomond's a Special Place

Loch Lomond boasts a lot of British records, it's the largest fresh water Loch (Lake), it has the most islands of any fresh water Loch and also the largest fresh water island in Inchmurrin.  Most of the islands are uninhabited and filled with wildlife such as Fallow Deer, Roe Deer, Ospreys, Peregrine falcons, Otters, Capercaillie and..... Wallabies!?

Important information

On our excursions, we go out for walks in the beautiful countryside, and as it's in Scotland, the weather can sometimes be a little wet and the terrain can be a wee bit slippy.  Due to this, we recommend you bring some light waterproof clothing, dress in layers and bring a comfortable pair of walking boots/shoes.  There is enough room for you to be able to bring a good sized rucksack on the trip.

Is this Tour for you?

Before booking on to our tour, please remember that this is an Active Sightseeing tour and might not be for everyone.  We will be going for 2 walks of approx 1 hour each and will possibly be walking up hill for roughly half that time.  Also during the trip, there will be a few shorter walks

Before booking on, please ask yourself,
Can I and everyone in my group comfortably walk for up to 1 hour?
